I was just wondering what color everyone else preferred. I have a chocolate lab so I guess I'm kinda biased!! ;D
Hi there. Chocolates have always been my favorite. I can't really give you a reason why. I was looking for a chocolate this past January and all I found was yellows. I had never had a yellow before so I decided to go for it Now that I have had one of each color, it doesn't really matter to me anymore They always say yellows are more photogenic. Which I agree with now that I have my yellow boy. I just love Labs now. I hope to have another girl Lab in a few years. I will probably go with black or chocolate this next time. But, that is just because I have my yellow and want another color
Have a great day! Tina
Bobbie is a yellow and i love the variation that you can get with a yellow. Like the lighter/white stips down her shoulder blades.
When i get a lab of my own i want to get a black girl. I have nothing against Chocolates but one thing that puts me off is the fact they are more popular at the mo because Brown is an "in" colour. To buy a chocolate pup here, they are usually more expensive.
I do love them all though!
Blacks by a mile. I want a yellow one day but blacks will always be my favorite.
Like you, I have a chocolate so my preference is a bit biased but I have to agree about chocolate being my preferred color. My second fave is yellows, in fact I am looking to add a second labby in the near future... hopefully a yellow.Originally Posted by Lucky Dog

Yellows are my favorite.
But I do like chocolates and blacks too.

Any color is great as long as its black. I've seen too many chocolates around lately. Some breeders are breeding just for chocolates, thats just not a good thing when trying to keep a healthy breed.
For years we wanted a chocolate lab..and now we have one..if/when we get another..I was tending to a yellow..but DH says he wants another chocolate..so, we'll see. I love them all to be honest..I just fell in love with the first chocolate lab I saw years and years ago.
I think my answer to this one is kinda obvious.. hee hee!
Baloo - 5 year old black lab
Peanut - 7 year old minpin
Monster - 3-ish year old frenchie/jack, rescue
Black black black, followed closely by yellow
