First a trip to the new dog wash to give Omen - I mean Orson his first bath. He is smart and more than smart he is stubborn. After fighting a thrashing alligator to get him in the tank and then trying to dry the still terrified alligator afterward we came home and things settled down a little.
A nice dinner at the country club in Gaylord (30 minutes away) with family and friends.
Thank God we did not decide to go back to their house after dinner and got home about 9:30. I look in the front door for the Omen where he usually waits and no dog. On the floor is what appears to be watery dark ugly diarrhea. Then here comes the Omen to the door with diarrhea all over his back WTF????
Apparently Doofy had the squirts and went to the front door to go out and Orson was laying there as usual and he got you know what on. Then Orson gets really upset and tears through the house. Thank God he did not go upstairs or downstairs. Running around, jumping on the leather sofa (thank God it's leather) I can just imagine the scene.
Well after throwing Orson outside on the porch and Doofy (did not figure out exactly what the story was and how it happened as yet - that came later after I found the trail of poop on Doofy backend - and cleaning the floors Orson got to get his SECOND and THIRD bath of the day. Poor thing - talk about a VERY BAD DAY!
Spent all morning cleaning carpet and doing laundry and thank GOD he did not jump in my bed!
and my Mr. Tank..........just laying there like the angel his is taking in the entire evening knowing he had nothing to do with it. Expected him to light up a cigarette and ask for a drink. Lord knows at that point I needed a couple. Finally got to bed at 12:30 after winding down.
Have to say your story made me laugh, ahh several times Then again I wasn't living it in real person! Hope tomorrow brings less turmoil in your home
Awww, poor Orson! And poor Doofy! Oh, yeah, and poor Sandie, too!
Jackie, Champ, and Buddy
Literally s___ty luck!
Poor boys. I hope he is better today.
Terrible end to a lovely evening.
I hope Doof is better today.
Seamus and Flynn
The title said it all - poor Orson! First had to have a "bath" and then to get pooped on and two more baths! He was probably thinking "what did I do to deserve this!". I would imagine that most of us and our pups would be running around too if someone pooped on our backs! YUCK!!
I hope Doofy is better today. The image of Tank with a cigerette and a drink make me laugh! And the Mama does deserve at least two adult beverages after such a day. Poor girl - the things we endure for our furry babies! I hope the rest of your weekend is much better.
