DefaultBarney Made Me So Proud of Him Today

I mentioned yesterday that I was going to leave Barney uncrated today. As it was with Tal, I just seemed to kind of know.

So today I decided to take the plunge. I left home about 7:15. I had to stop and get an allergy shot at 1, but I didn't get home until 2. No "presents", no strange wet spots on the carpet, nothing out of place. I think they all just slept until I got home. lol. So as long as he continues to behave himself, he is crate free.

Plus, I swear he gave me a look as if to say thanks for trusting him. Tal did exactly the same thing when I first started to give him free run of the house.

Way to go Barney!!! Make your daddy proud, and us too!!! I wouldn't expect anything any different. You seem to have such a close family unit with the three of you and the cat.

Thanks! And I have felt that he was ready for awhile, but I wanted to gradually get him used to being uncrated for varying periods and I could only do that once summer started!

Best for me is that when I get home, Tal, Barney, and Midnight are all waiting at the back door when I get home!

Great job, Barney! Way to make your Dad proud.

(I have to tell you that I love, love reading your posts about Tal and Barney. Your love and devotion to them just shines in every post.)
“If I know every single phone call you’ve made, I’m able to determine every single person you’ve talked to; I can get a pattern about your life that is very, very intrusive. And the real question here, is what do they do with this information that they collect – that does not have anything to do with al-Qaeda? And we’re gonna trust the president and the vice president that they’re doing the right thing? Don’t count me in on that.”

Thanks for the kind words. My granny used to say people should never have kids, pets, etc., if they were not going to care for them. Sounds advice if you ask me! But it really doesn't feel like work. When I see them happy, tail wagging, doing a happy dance, well, it just makes everything seem ok.
