Today, it just hit me. Remington really feels like part of the family now. Took awhile. But he's as familiar and comfortable having around as Magnum and Ruger are

I tell my puppy people that it takes 4 - 6 months before you stop and think "Okay what did I do without you?" because by then a new routine is established and embedded in both you and the puppy and you can begin to really enjoy one another. I tell them that it's okay to think "Oh my what have I done????" for the first few weeks.
That's good to know. I love Buddy, but he is still 'growing on me.' In many ways he is SO different from Shadow, some of them irritating, some funny, some endearing.Originally Posted by WigWag

I can't wait for that feeling. As much as I totally love Baloo's "puppyishness", I can't wait for the bond to really develop, and feel like HE is a part of the family!
