If you've ever been to Memphis in the summer you know that the humidity is killer. I went outside at 6 this morning to play fetch with Tal. It was already 79 and it is so humid you can cut it with a knife. I didn't want to take any chances so I didn't let him go for very long.
I forsee an trip to the lake this afternoon
I know what you mean! It is so hot and humid here in the morning and the evenings! I wish I had a pool! Sounds like a trip to the lake is just what Tal needs!
Teresa, mom to Brigetta and Prudence
It's terrible here today. Supposed to go to 100 degrees with high humidity.
yikes - we're in the same boat - 30 degrees (celcius) and humidity
And funny thing is that at 9 the humidity feels a little less. It has been getting into the 90s here the last few days.
Ouch. The humidity when we were in Florida was awful so I can imagine it must be worse further inland.
If it makes you feel any better, we had the heat on in the house this morning. :P But now it is all humid...about 75 degrees.
UGGG I KNOW!!! I am already for winter again.... :'(
Talked to my mom in Memphis this morning and she said to send the rain we've been having in KC your way...ya'll need something to break the heat. I don't miss that scorching heat, but we haven't really had a summer yet...all this rain keeps the temps down...I'll send it your way!Originally Posted by myfavoritedog

It must have worked because we are getting some rain showers now. They have issued a severe T'storm watch until 4 this afternoon. Hopefully, it will be a little milder and I can take Tal to the lake this afternoon. And if I had any doubts about whether Tal is afraid of T'storms, when we were walking in from the garage there was a loud clap of thunder and a streaky bolt of lightening. Good thing I don't get excited anout storms because he looked at me and I just kept going!Originally Posted by BudGirl8
