Does your dog howl? When and why?
Yup, I got a howler.... when the fire siren goes.
I suspect it is due our house's proximity to the fire station. It is just two properties up the street, roughly 300 feet or so. Though what is really odd is she'll howl when we are home, but not when we are out walking or at my parents house.
My pretty girl, Lexi!

Jake howls when there are sirens. He's not concerned or scared or anything - just very matter of factly throws back his head and "BA-ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOs" his little heart out. It cracks me up every time

I have three siren howlers here, it's quite a concert.. Reggie however will sometimes howl when I get home and pull into the driveway. Now if I start the howling first, all three will join in just for the fun of it.

Our first lab, Gunner, was a siren howler. My son thought he was hilarious when he howled, so he taught him to howl on command. Travis would throw his head back and howl and then Gunner would join in.
