Puppy is killing the yard with her urine spots.
Is it something she eats or can I fix/treat the grass some how?
Yes, you can treat the grass.
I kept a gallon (reusing a plastic milk jug) by the front door and poured half of it over any spot Puff made a donation. I'm using past tense because, at almost 6 years age, her pee doesn't seem as toxic to grass (or else I'm growing grass that's more pee resistant). The great news on this method is that the pee is actually helpful in more dilute doses so the added water makes it that strength.
For the real scientific skinny (no false claims), read:
Puff [YF, AKC field line (from competing HT/FT breeder) 62 lbs, dob: 8-'01]
Bess [BF, AKC bench line (from competing show breeder) 55 lbs., 1967-1981] "Poor Bess, the Wonder Dog":
Thank you! Will try this. For some reason our previous female dog a border collie lab X did not kill the grass like Sam does.
