    DefaultID opinions

    What do you guys think of this and has anybody used? I hope the link works. Basically it is a USB drive that is an id tag. Thanks

    oooooh! I like that idea! I think i'll get those for my dog and three cats! Thanks for sharing!

    ETA- I wonder though if someone sees that tag on a lost dog's collar if they will know what to do with it? Ya know? like what if they dont realize its a USB drive?

    I really like the ID, even though Puddy is microchipped...I think this would just be an added precaution. I really like the idea that all the records would be stored on it. I wonder how big it actually is. I am going to try to give them a call or email.

    even though he's microchipped it would still be nice to have all his medical records on hand in case he needed to go to the vet if he ever got lost. I REALLY like this idea. I'm gunna need to buy four of these things, so thats almost $200.....expensive, but TOTALLY worth it.

    Is this waterproof??? What if your dog jumps in a puddle while on a walk? What if another dog chews on it or bites it during play? What if sand and dirt gets in it? See the pattern here? Did not see the answers to these questions. These are for dogs that roll on the ground, jump in water and do a slide in the grass to get a ball. Don't know if these USB drives could handle this

    Cinnamon tag has my cell ph# on it and home ph. She has a 2nd tag that has my email address so people can leave a message.
