Defaultmust be the season for surprises!

Dani finds Rookie on the loose, Tatum decides to be nosey, and last night when I got home from work, Buddy did not meet me at the door... because he was enthroned on my chair in the living room! Not on Bill's leather recliner, that the Lab hair brushes off of easily; oh nooo, it had to be my blue, chenille-covered chair that holds onto every little Lab hair as if it's very existence depended on it! :-\ He sat there just like a little king on a throne, smiling at me and so proud of himself that I had to laugh.

I can totally picture your adorable little guy doing that. :-* to Buddy.
I'm Jenn. Keeper of two labs in my home and one forever in my heart.

What a good boy. He was warming it up for you.

Murray always lays on my chair or corner of the sofa too. I think its endearing. SU, however, is not as impressed (he doesn't like the dogs on the furniture).

EXACTLY! First it's fear that something is wrong with them, they are sick or hurt, then you think they are hiding because they did something they shouldn't have ... then you look up to see that Labby grin!

    LOL, that is too funny!

I know exactly what you mean about when they aren't at the door when you get home. My heart practically drops to my toes with worry if she is okay or not. I think she is napping & did not hear me car pull in.

    My pretty girl, Lexi!
