    DefaultApollo loves his daddy

Sam called me to tell me that apollo is following him around the house and trying to climb into sams lap and curl up into a little ball! I am soooo happy that apollo has progressed! He hasn't peed when we put the leash on him in three weeks! And the last time he had a helping, screaming freakout was ONE MONTH ago! We are thrilled! Apollo has finally bonded to sammy. Its great!

    That's great news!
I know how worried you were, and how frustrated Sam was.

    Glad things are working out.

I don't get what changed. After the move to St. Louis, apollo was just a different dog! I was like WTH? Maybe he realized that we aren't ever gunna abandon him after we moved with him half way across the country. Who knows, but after the move he's just changed so much! I wonder why.

LOL it hasn't been humid OR hot since I've been here ( I am NOT looking forward to that changing). Apollo is totally different now! We are shocked! We can clip the leash to his collar with NO urinating on his part. We were using a harness, but it became a hassel to use and he kept getting caught on stuff. I wonder why all of a sudden its ok for us to touch him on the neck and clip the leash onto his collar.

We are enrolling him in a 'shy dogs' class at the humane society, but if he keeps up his current behavior we wont even need to call a private trainer. I am absolutely shocked with his sudden transformation. We didn't do anything different, he just fixed himself!

It could be that the change of surroundings, exposure to new people and more time with Sam has boosted his confidence. I really hope his behavior gets better and better for you.

Congrats!! That's so cool to hear. Sometimes only the animal knows why something was wrong and why suddenly it's not anymore...
