This is one time I am glad I did not reach in (in this case) Barney's mouth and get an object out. Barney had something in his mouth the other day while we were in the backyard. I actually thought it was a rock. Both he and Tal are pretty good about the leave it command, so that's what I made Barney do. Imagine my surprise when I looked and it was a dead mouse. I got the pooper scooper and took care of our little deceased rodent pronto. That is the first one I have seen around here, dead or alive.
I never see them alive, but I get at least one or at least half of one every week in the summer !
I have to inspect the floors as soon as we come downstairs !
I hear ya! From the looks of the little mouse, I think he had been gone well before Barney got him.
Ewww! I know it's nature and all of that but OH BARF!
Seamus and Flynn
Aw poor mousey!
Gus got a dead rat last summer, and I was actually surprised that when I told him to leave it, he did. He's not too good with that command (yeah, I know, I know). He apparently was grossed out by the dead rat, too.BTW- I didn't feel bad for the rat
