I'm bringing home a new female labrador puppy Saturday and would love to hear some name suggestions!

    YAY! What color is she?

I love the name Lucy for a girl, or Stella.

I think names are very personal and it's hard to put a name on something until you know the personality. You may decide to make a list of favorite girl names and pick from that judging by her personality. In that case I love the name Zia which means ripened grain (yellow in color) Tawnie (again yellow color) and I like the name Edda (pronounced eeda)
    There's always Ethyl & Myrtle.

She's has a light yellow lab. This might be the only time I would say I wish this Friday would go by quicker!

Lucy is easy and catchy...I like it. I originally thought about the name "chewy" but I thought about it more and I don't like it when I hear dog names like (fluffy, angel, marshmellow, etc etc). And I would be putting chewy right into that category.

p.s. no offense if your dog's name is Fluffy.

    With "No!!" attached to it.

I like nature/wilderness/adventure names for dogs. My choice for Dozer was Scout (and I got vetoed -- which is good because he is definitely a Dozer and not a Scout!) ... What about Kaia (Kyah)? It means Earth. I also like the name Echo. It's on my short list for when we get a female lab in 3 ish years.
