Wow, is all I can say to this. To bad it wouldn't work for cats though, even in smaller doses.

How interesting, especially since they're trying to say that it wasn't the rat poisoning but some other contaminant now. I knew I didn't buy the new story, the symptoms sound too much like what happens if a pet gets into rodenticide.

I wonder if we'll ever get the whole story, but Thank God the vets aren't waiting for the investigation before they try different treatments. I hope more dogs respond, and that they can find a cure for the kitties too! :'(

That sounds GREAT ! I hope the dog continues to progress....... maybe it won't be too late for SOME of the dogs.

That is extremely cool. It's good to have a brother who's a research scientist, huh?

I feel bad about the cats though, why is it people think about the dogs first instead of the cats? Think about it a cat's immune system is more sensitive and delicate than a dogs. They can die faster and easier than a dog.

Example, my cat had fleas and was allergic to them, she ended up dying a couple of days later. We didn't know we had fleas we thought they were fruit flies because they looked to be 'flying' instead of jumping. Anyway recently my Rottweiler who lives with my grandmother had fleas. I guess she had them for almost a week or two before my grandmother realized she had fleas.
Anyway, my point being that I think they should focus on the cats more also, and than the dogs. The cats are probably dying faster than dogs.

I find this very puzzling, too. I wonder if we'll ever learn the whole story.
