RETRIEVES! At last! I got their tennisballs out tonight for the first time since all the ice and snow and rain beginning in December.

Seamus was in seventh heaven and he was dead on the mark every time. What an eye that boy has. Graceful, too, as always. Flynn is my soccer man, but an excellent t/b retriever, too. (He is the one to find any t/b that has sailed errantly into the bamboo stand.)

Funny how each of my blacks excel at different sports. It pleases me. It pleases me immensely.

They must be thrilled!! My boys are terribly bored because their mommy hasn't been up to snuff with kicking the jollyball lately!! Maybe when the temps start reaching above 20 degrees again.

I thought you were going to say Poop Patrol. LOL

I'm dreading the thaw. I managed to keep it down but at one point with freezing rain and really cold temperatures the poop was freezing to the ground faster than I could scoop it. One day, I swear it froze on contact. ;D I also broke my pooper scooper this year trying to get it off the ice.

Your day sounded a lot better then what mine will be like as soon as weather permits.

Yes they were, Georgie. Haha! I don't know who was more excited to be playing our outdoor games again... the labs or me! It was wonderful.

Yep spring has sprung here too, but OMG Riley would just die if she couldnt chase balls all through the winter! I had never really thought about how limiting snow is when I look at all the lovely snow pics you all post and I sit there thinking "oh how pretty! I wanna play in snow!" I will have to remind her how lucky she is to able to swim and retrieve all year round.
