Brandy knows how to use her paws and snout to open her crate.
God help her
A padlock is your best friend.
We had to use a padlock because our Joker figured out how to open his crate.

Caribeaners - like this: http://www.backcountry.com/store/BLD...ml?id=5beP2cXa - are a good way to "Lock" the crate, but still make it fast to open in case of an emergency.
Emma also learned how to let herself out of the crate.... Bungee cords work well in a pinch.
What a smart gal!
Dryf opens his crate all the time; we make sure to secure with something like a carabeaner!

I crated Mar a couple of mornings ago, and lucky for everyone, my bf was still home. Apparently Mar was scratching hard trying to figure out how to open it and got his paw stuck in the closed door!!!! Ryan had to go rescue him. I'm sure he won't do that again - I am just glad he learned that lesson on a day when someone was there to help.
