DefaultQUICK ADVICE NEEDED - Cinder ate a box of cocoa wheats

I made cocoa wheats for my sick 5 yr old, then we left soon after to bring my 15 yr old to someone's house for turn a bout pictures. We were gone about 45 minutes and in that time Cinder ate the box of cocoa wheats mix. It was probably 3/4 full. My concern is will this be dangerous for her because it expands? She is acting completely normal, except for going under the kitchen table every time I look at her because she knows she was bad. Her tummy looks and feels fine too. Anyone know anything about this?

    Oh, no! Cinder!

I am NOT that knowedgable about this, but if she were my dog I would just watch her. If you see her drooling or her belly looks distended, take her to the emergency vet. If it was rice or dry oats or something highly expandable like that, I would probably be more worried.

I'm curious to see what others think.

That's what I was thinking too, but I still worry. She is such a doofus sometimes! And I am still kicking myself for not putting the box away but Toby was worried he was going to be late for pictures so I was rushing. argh

I agree, I'd watch her like a hawk, leash her to you if you have and if she looks distressed, drools,or her tummy gets really big rush her in. And keep one on the clock, so you know how long it's been

It's been six hours now and she seems to be doing okay. She keeps ringing the bell to go out, but it's so gross out there I haven't gone with her. She seems to be really interested in the tree when I watch her so I think she's just keeping an eye on an animal. I figured I would stay up for another hour or so with her and after that she should be fine. Thanks for asking about my crazy girl. Just when I think she's not a nut anymore she proves me wrong! Just like a kid.
