Last night when we went to bed I put Tal in his crate and he started to whine again. I wasn't sure why and because I still do that on occasion and he never turns a word. So I decided to let him out and see if he would crawl in the bed with me like he usually does. Well, he did and after a couple of strokes on his head he dropped off.
This morning he had his usual breakfast and water and did his usual potty business. I'd say he is about 90% now. After a day's rest I bet he will be ready....that will really be a challenge.. ??? ???
That is excellent news!!! You go, Tal! ;D

Sound like he's doing great! You are right, he probably will feel 100% by tomorrow. And it will be hard to keep him calm. We had the stitches taken out on both our boys at 10 days, which worked well for all of us.

They said he would need a cone only if he lcked himself alot. SO far he has not done that more than usual so I am not going to worry too much about it.Originally Posted by Emma the LabHe usually crawls up in the bed with me after I turn in. Some nights he will sleep beside the bed or on the couch but most nights he curls up by my knees. I think he was wanting to feel secure not knowing about the anesthesia wearing off and all.Originally Posted by Brigettas Mom
I am hoping with brief walks and maybe some mild indoor play like hide and seek he will be entertained enough for the next few days. The Dr said Ic ould take him for a short walk or two today. I am going to see how he's walking when I get home and then decide. I had a friend check on him a couple of times today.
I am so glad Tal is doing well. He just wanted to sleep with his dad.
sound like he is doing just fine
