I called and she is up and came out of the anesthesia fine. The vet tech said she fed her and shes already up and moving around and had a pretty big appetite. And of course the labby tail was going a mile a minute. She was very surprised at how active she is after just having the leg removed, so thats a good thing. I will be going in to see her soon, and I just wanted to thank you all for the prayers. They are what got me through this whole thing.
We are researching oncologists right now, and will be trying to get her appointment soon to see what treatment options we have as far as medication. I know this will be an adjustment for us all, but it will be nice to have our girl back to her old self. Thanks again.
Sending hugs for Timber. You just can't keep a lab down, can you?

Who was it here that fostered Sailor? I have questions and would love to have someone who's btdt to ask if the need arises.
Sending healing prayers for Timber. What a tropper!!!
God bless you and Timber. We are so happy that the surgery went well, and we are sending prayers for recovery.
Heather had Sailor.
Sailor is a fine example of how well a dog can do on 3 legs.
My thoughts and prayers remain with you and Timber.
