Apparently removing your own post doesn't work on this board...sorry for the confusion.

Don't really have an answer but I would think one that fits the budget and lifestyle. A ying yang may be fun. When my BL goes to Dads house my BL and his shih tzu have the time of their life. The Shih Tzu thinks he is 70 # and my Darla thinks she is 7#. The run on the beach and after sticks adn although the Tzu doesn't swim will wait on the beach while Darla retrieves.

As long as the pup is outgoig I think any breed would be fun.

The post about what dog compliments a lab that the OP deleted the info from? Was there controversy?

Oh! I was going to check it out myself...only when I came back it was gone :P
Don't know why it would be controversial. I have considered getting a second dog of a different breed and have been curious as to what breed would be compatible. Not because I don't like labrador retrievers but because I just want to experience handling a different breed.

I was looking forward to this thread...too bad it had to go
