I have slowly been re-taking the reins on Wesley's walking routine, as I'm recovering still from knee surgery in early Feb. SU, bless her, has been on the forefront of his exercise regimen, but as I'm feeling stronger and stronger, I'm back (some) holding the leash.
I had him out yesterday afternoon, late (5-ish), and we went to a nearby soccer field. And he looked SO happy and was being SO good... and there was just enough snow left on the ground to make this fun.....
So I snapped him off the leash and let him go ZOOOOOOOOOOMing for about 10 minutes. I have not seen my boy butt-tuck like that in a long time. It was like he finally could scratch an itch that had been bugging him for *weeks*. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
It was a joy to behold.
Awww...I'm glad your finally able to join Wesley in his morning walks I know you and your wife will be very glad when your knee is fully recovered.
I love to watch them run! Yay for Wesley having a good time, and glad your knee is improving.
;D ;D It is a wonderful thing to watch a dog butt tuck like a crazy fool. lol Can't wait to get Cammy into a dog park and watch her.
I love it when they do that!!!
YAY Wesley sounds like a blast! ;D
Mckenzie the lab and Maddie the Mastiff wanna be.
Sounds like you enjoyed that as much as Wesley did!
It sounds like you both had a great time! I'm glad Wesley finally got to scratch that itch
Teresa, mom to Brigetta and Prudence
HEHEHE! I could just picture it. Hopefully Wes isn't like Murray and Essy who charge me when they are butt tucking. We don't want you to lose your other knee.
Awww Wes. Glad you had a good time.
