    DefaultAngus swiped pineapple

    from my dessert plate. Just one chunk, will this hurt him?

    i give pineapple as treats sometimes. he should be fine.
    on the other hand, if he swallowed a big chunk of the hard core of the pineapple without chewing, he may vomit that back up if it doesn't get digested. :-X

    Thanks. There was no core or skin, I had just chopped up a whole pineapple & some kiwi & strawberries for my dessert & I guess it smelled too good for Angus to resist. :

    Sounds too good for me to resist, too. Caleb really like pineapple when I had some last week. I think he liked it more than the clementines we had at Christmas time.

    It won't hurt him. In fact, one of the remedies for poop eaters is to feed them pineapple. I guess it makes the poop taste bad (or at least worse )

    I've heard some people suggest that adding pinapple to your dogs food serves to discourage them from eating poop (I guess it makes it distasteful), so we've actually fed our dogs a bunch of pinapple. They loved it. However, we stopped the practice because nothing will stop Maggie from shopping for treats in the back yard :P
