Shoot...I knew everything was going too easy...
I thought it was supposed to be an early spring? :
We have a foster pup, Riley, that Nicole (JacksandLabs) had surrendered to her...and he was neutered up here in Mt. Pleasant, and was slated to go to his forever home in Smithtown, NY on Monday morning, and well, that Nor'Easter decided that would be a resounding NO. My friend was driving back to Michigan from NY to see family and was going to take Riley back with him. Well, i-80 in Pennsylvania is still apparently shut down, so he turned around and went back home. He's going to try again next weekend. So, it seems that Mr. Riley will hang out with us for another week.
We also had a transport supposed to be happening today to bring Sandy, the yellow lab mix pup from Kansas that was posted on here a few weeks ago up here to Mt. Pleasant. Well, Mother Nature again stepped in and decided that would be a NO. Eastern Kansas, Missouri, Central Illinois all had a front come through that was sleet and snow which is making travel not ideal. So, Sandy has to wait another week as well to come up here to Mt. Pleasant.
Please cross your fingers and hope for better weather next weekend so we can get these two pups to where they need to go.
