    DefaultLaundry day and socks

Today was laundry day and as usual came up with missing socks due to Darla. Darla just loves to carry them to all parts of the house. My average missing sock per laundry outing is 5. Those loners go back in the bin for the next round to be eventually matched with their mate.

As a side note, usually 1 pair goes to the trash as it turned into a tug of war sock and has the battle scars to show for.

oh, I don't have any matching socks anymore. I just grab 2 and put them on...don't care if they match or not..I give up. The girls are always dragging our socks off to different parts of the house and out to the yard.
SU is smart..he buys all black and all white..same brand socks so matching is no longer an issue.

    Zoe was never into socks.

SU does his own laundry, so I don't know about him..
Mine all match up b/c the only socks I wear are those for my running shoes and they're all the same. I think 10 pairs from Costco.

I've been doing monstrous amounts of laundry the last 2 days and have made piles on the floor. Barnsley thinks I put them there for him to play with and carries off socks, shirts, underwear, etc. He hasn't ruined any yet though. ;D

If one is missing that is not a good sign in our house. Moose devours socks if allowed and they don't digest. We usually get it back within 12-24 hours and believe it is not something you want to experience.

I have lots of mismatched socks, most of them not due to the dogs.

No lost socks here. My granny used to use a safety pin to clip them together at the toes. I still do that and I dont want Tal to get into the safety pin. He has occasionally grabbed one before I put it on or after I take it off. I get it back..he just wants to play keep away with it!

My fault! My two don't steal laundry. JJ used to occassionally but we put a stop to it........ by closing the door.
