I adopted two lab pups (mixed we think w/golden retriever) this past weekend. I am feeding them Pedigree puppy soft food. Before I was worried about overfeeding (myth?) but now I am concerned about underfeeding especially for large breed animals as I read more on the internet vs the instructions on the can. I am newer at this. Together they weigh much less than five pounds so per the can they should be fed less than one can. But they seem like they are starving.
You need to take those two to the vet. That seems to be far too small -- Gabby at 7 weeks was 10 pounds, which is pretty normal for labs. But we can't diagnose your dog as undernourished, or especially tell you how to safely bring them up to proper weight. They may be younger than 7 weeks, have worms or other intestinal parasites, or be sick.
By the way, pedigree brand food is not very good. When you go see your vet ask about what type of food he/she recommends.

I agree with Gabbys mom. I think a trip to the vet is in order. They sound on the small side to me. Tal was 14 lbs at 7 weeks but I know he is and will be on the large side. Like Gabby's mom said they should be around 10 lbs or so.
Good luck and hope you post some pics of them!
I agree with the others -- vet first if you haven't already.
It is hard to give you an exact amount of how much to feed because every pup has different needs. The energy requirements of a puppy is nearly double that of an adult. Are they underweight or just right?
Also, you should get them off Pedigree ASAP. It is one of the worst foods out there.
And you should get them off of wet food. Unless they are much younger and in that case I would question where you adopted them from.
