DefaultDo you ever feel like the doorman?

My last 20 minutes...(the names hidden to protect the guilty)

Dog 2 wants to go out.

Leave Dog 2 and Dog 1 out (who wants to go out because Dog 2 wants to go out)

Leave Cat in when Dogs go out.

Leave Dog 1 in (who really didn't want to go out but went out because Dog 2 wanted to go out)

    Pause

Leave Dog 2 in (he's cold).

Dogs 1 and 2 are settled down

Dog 3 wants to go out (she doesn't like to go out with Dogs 1 and 2 together; it's okay with just Dog 1 or just Dog 2 but not Dogs 1 and 2)

Leave Dog 3 and Dog 1 out (who wants to go out because Dog 3 wants to go out)

Leave Dog 1 in (who really didn't want to go out but went out because Dog 3 wanted to go out)

I can't wait until it's warm enough for them to use the doggy door.

i know how irrating it is. But I had to giggle when I read your post.

They always want to do it when you are settled.
Ernie does this late at night. Just as the movies is ending. He is gone for ages. Probably eating poop. I regularly miss the end of movies while I stand at the door waiting.

Kassa waiting for me to come home.

Yes Chris, you are so right. I didn't say that I sat down to eat dinner between each ...leave dog out.

Oh yes. This is why God invented the doggie door. For the miniscule bit of draft it might bring into the house, we are grateful to have retired our doorman's uniforms years ago.

We are getting a doggie door this spring for the slider. My DH has been investigating them and its TIME to retire our uniforms also!

Jeanne, I was cracking up reading it. Its my house!!! Emma must go out with every dog. no matter who it is. Aidan only goes when Emma goes and Molly cant go when Aidan does. So complicated :

Too funny! I, too, vote that you need a doggie door!
