    DefaultQuestion on toy breed puppies

I have been reading a thread on a forum and people are saying that toy breed puppies should stay with their mother and litter mates for 10 to 12 weeks. Does anybody know if this true and is there facts that support this? It is new to me. I also thought that there would be no differences between breeds of dogs when they go to new homes.

Yes they should stay until at least 12 weeks. Toy breeds mature at a much different pace then other breeds. There is also the risk of hypoglycemia.
