Laura - you should put a link to this on your site about silvers.
The name, TNT, should be enough to keep anyone away.
Wow. At least Lexi seems to be in a loving environment.

This rebuttal had me laughing out loud.If you're so bloody sharp, why did you purchase a dog that isn't a true Labrador color? Ijit.I purchased a male silver lab from TNT about 2 1/2 years ago. I think I'm pretty sharp when it comes to dogs, kennels etc as I was a animal shelter worker for a couple of years.

Yikes!
Laura, my experience has been that a lot of shelter workers/volunteers out there don't know their you know what from a hole in the ground about the "world of purebred dogs". I don't think the majority of them would know a good quality breeder, or represenitive of the breed, if it bit them. I'm not bashing shelter workers/volunteers- I think they do wonderful work. But, for the most part, they aren't the experts they want everyone to think they are.Originally Posted by labby
We have the report on Silvers from the AKC on colours on Maggies site!
I hope this couple who bought the dog are spayed and neutered, I would hate to think they are breeding also. :
