I changed the sheets on my bed just a few minutes ago and until now Tal would hop up on the bed, I'd get him off, he'd hop up aigan..etc. It was a chore to change sheets.
Well I tried something I learned in class today when he did it just now. In an assertive voice I said "OFF!" He acted like he was gonna get off and when I reached for his collar he practically leaped off the bed. I put him in a sit-stay. He did get out of the stay a couple of times and when he went in a sit I made sure I praised him..then once the bed was made he continued to sit there until I sat down on it and called him onto it!
I am so pround of him...it appears he is beginning to see me as the pack leader...I hope I am always worthy of the trust he is putting in me.
Good boy Tal, keep listening to your pack leader! ;D
