Having two labs really makes me see the difference in personalities. Abby is home with me today instead of out at the sportsmen club with SU. It was Molly's turn to go & Abby is in heat. What a pain she has been since they left this morning. :
She has been "crying" at the window & running from door to door.
She went many times with SU to duck hunt & Molly had to stay home. Molly just went up & layed on the bed, pouting I guess.
This girl is so different. I do feel bad for her. Oh well, another week & she should be able to go.
Here she is when I let her out. She just stood there. I guess she doesn't like to be out by herself. :
Awwww....poor Abby being left behind! I think an extra treat or two is in order!

Poor thing! I wonder if being in heat is exacerbating her emotions?
I hope she settles down for you!

Anne - My girls are usually spayed before their first heat so maybe you are right, being in heat may change her mood a bit. Two or three months & she will be spayed too. No more of this. I think I read on here that the week after they bleed they are still receptive to males so I guess her "hormones" are raging. :
I never had this before so I'm not sure what to expect.
Awww look at that face! Poor Abby Georgie!

Aww. She doesn't like being left out. If I take one of my girls and not the other, the one left behind has a conniption.

Georgie, she's beautiful.
Aww poor thing. Kaycie's attitude has changed so much since she's been in heat. She's a crier too. But the odd thing is that she is completely off schedule, and doesn't have much of an appetite....not even for treats. She came into heat the weekend that we moved so it's probably a combination of both. But man, I sure do miss my wild puppy. She's so calm...do they stay that way? She's defenitely a momma's girl, she just lays by me like she's pouting. Gosh Abby is beautiful.
srry didn't mean to hijack your post :-X
Beautiful pic of her!
