This dog is a true warrior! He slept through the chemo which most dog don't and his heart rate was 90 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
He was wagging and hungry afterward and appears all around as normal as before.
Now the next hurdle will be "how is he in 3 days". That is when he could get tummy problems and diarrehea.
The chemo doctor was absolutely great and the girls went ga ga over him as usual.
What they thought orginally to be tumor on the liver has turned out not to be a tumor but most likely a blood clot that he threw. When, how, who knows.
He ate a good dinner of chicken and rice and a bit of kibble and cookies afterward of course. They took out his staples and said his incision looked fantastic. I can't believe he did not lick that big zipper even once.
I will be on pins and needles for the next 72 hours but so far he has come through with flying colors.
Thanks for all your wishes and prayers!
