DefaultAnyone else hate leaving for work?

Does anyone else find it very difficult to leave for work in the morning?

The last thing I do before heading out the door is to dispense kisses and hugs to my 3 labs...along with instructions to "be good girls today."

They're so cute and warm and comfy and sleepy that it takes everything in me NOT to call in sick and spend the day with them.

It's better now than it used to be. Sadie is usually curled up on the couch ready for us to leave

My husband kisses my three before he kisses me goodbye in the morning. LOL

Yep, especially when Caleb sees me getting ready to leave and runs to the door carrying his Elmo because thinks he's going with me.

What a cute picture of Caleb.

I tell my 2 to be good boys, and they lie down

Me too, Bauer lays here next to (or under) my desk all day long. If I did have to go somewhere, it would be hard to leave (he sleeps all day so I don't think he would care). My boys (11 and 15) kiss and hug him before they leave for school, and he is the first one they greet when they come home.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

I work from home most days - days I do not I never make a big deal out of leaving. They sleep while I am gone and I don't want to court separation anxiety.

Yes, I hate it. They know when it's time though. Willy goes and lays on his bed and waits for his kong. I give them both their kongs and tell them to be good boys and girls as I go out the door.
