What could cause this? I called vet and they have no openings, but I will go down there anyway and sit and wait.
Why do you have to go to the vet? Pick up the sample and drop it off and make them run every test imaginable.

Well I didnt know if they needed the dog there for any test. I havent had any issue with this before. How fresh does the stool need to be when the vet gets it? I am at work and about an hour from being home.
My dog has this too right now!! I am so worried, I have her on boiled chicken and rice..but Dixie is starving.
Did your dog swallow anything?? There might be something in her intestines... How much blood is in her stool??? Please explain I want to know if it is like my dogs doings.
Oh and I took Dixie's stool into the vet on Friday and nothing...came back negative thank god. So I don't know what it can be...yeah bring stool into vet and see if she has worms...
I'd drop off a stool too if there is no appointment. Does everything else seem normal? Has he had diarrhea lately?
I hope everything checks out ok
Poor Mambo I hope it's nothing serious. Like Dani & Belles Mom said, drop off a sample. That way they can start testing and would now if Mambo needs to actually come in for more tests. Keep us posted.

I agree...take the sample in and see what the tests show. Hpefully it's nothing.
Ok, well vet said since his stool was covered in flies, just to bring him in. Which I did. They tried to get a sample and he has none. So we are waiting for him to go potty again. Vet doesnt think its anything serious since mambo is acting normal.
I guess I just worry since he is my baby. Maybe it could have waited, but since I was able to leave I did.
I will let you know what the vet says if anything.
