Mine always smells like beef jerky ??? ;D Any reason for this?
Strange, I know, but true!
We don't have many cold days here but just last week when the boys came in from the cold I noticed what I would call a very fresh crisp smell. I loved the smell but it wore off as soon as they warmed up. I guess a nice dry cold dog smells the opposite of a hot wet dog. ;D
I know that beef jerkey smell! I figure that it's the wood fires that people are burning on cold days. ???
The weird thing is.....I never smell the jerky smell outside when I bring her in....strange.
Bodie smells like a cross between skunk and feral beast. .... He was sprayed about 3 months ago, and that scent is like the gift that just keeps on giving ... and giving ..... and giving ........
Tucker smells cold and crisp too.....and 'specially when he's been in the water
Tal smells cold and crisp. Not sure how to describe how he smells when he is wet.
We very rarely have cold weather and when we do, it raining, so unfortunately they also smell after they come in from outside.
