I know that labs "don't need bathing" and indeed, really shouldn't be bathed unless filthy, but I usually end up bathing mine about 3 or 4 times a year, and a "spring cleaning" is one of those times. So today they had a nice bath outside, ear-cleaning, and teeth brushing. Later, when they are drier, I'll comb them out good. I tie them to the banister of the back deck, but they are really good about standing nice for me while I bath them, then they shake off good, and butt-tuck around the yard. Then I towel them off. Now they are completely sacked out in the house, Apparently it was all very exhausting for them!
I bet they look lovely (even if they always do) after their spring cleaning Emma had her spring cleaning a couple of weeks ago

I did all of mine 2 weeks ago and forced dried them to get all that hair out
Wyatt got his first bath today, only because he rolled in something rotten during our hike this morning.
Surprisingly my normally layed back dog HATED getting hosed off, it was a struggle
If it were Abbey and I let her go outside after getting hosed down, she would have rolled in all of the grass/dirt/goose poop/dead animals she could find!
