Merlot's snout, or what ever you call it, curves up from his nose, instead of being flat like all the other labs I've seen pics of on this forum. Kind of looks like a big bump, and he has looked like this for over a year now. He just turned 15 months. First I thought his ears were too large and now I am thinking his snout is disfigured. Maybe I am just paranoid...but look at his prolile.

I have no idea. I do know one thing. He's a cute pooch. That's all that matters.

If he's breathing alright, I wouldn't worry about it. It looks normal enough to me, and he's a handsome guy, so there you go.

Thanks guys. My vet didn't know either. She said some labs have a bump on the top of their heads for no reason, and Merlot has a bump on his snoot..for no known reason. She said they only way she could tell, would be to cut into it with a scalpel

Oh heck no, not unless something develops or it interferes with breathing.

If he isn't in pain or in any discomfort...you have nothing to worry about
I don't think it's some kind of defect or anything to be concerned about. His feature is just different. Just like us humans...we all have different shaped noses

    He is very handsome btw!

He looks like a handsome guy to me. I'm not really seeing what your saying, so I wouldn't worry about it. As others have said, if it's not bothering him, he should be fine.
