He was still acting poorly this morning per the doctors. I talked to them about 1:00 and they said they were doing a test for pancreatitis because he still was not eating. I asked if I could come they said yes so I made the hour and 1/2 drive.
I brought chicken, pasta, cheese, turkey sausage, cookie bones.........
The doctor arrived in the reception area and her first words were "you would not believe what has happened in the last hour - he ate some chicken and he is different". They brought him into an examining room and there he was, my boy, almost~! He was very interested the the little soft cooler I brought with all the stuff in it. His nose was in it as soon as I unzipped it. He grabbed a cookie and ate it. I took out the chicken and he ate a bite. I took out the pasta and he ate the entire bag and did not want the chicken. Took him out for a potty walk and he peed and "pooped" (mom does happy poopy dance here). He even lifted his leg once.......that's my boy! He ate more chicken after the second walk.
Everyone is very happy and excited.
They said they would decide tomorrow when he could come home. Should be Thurs am but if he is doing super excellent a slight chance for tomorrow night.
Even though he may still have cancer I am a very happy mom right now and want to thank each and every one of you for your support and your kind messages. I know I have not responded to all the PM's but please be assured they were all read and very much appreciated.
Will update tomorrow when I hear from them.
