    DefaultStorm - the mediator...

So the hubby and I don't argue often, but when we do we noticed that Storm really does NOT like it. She generally will leave the room or sigh loudly as if to say "seriously guys are you actually arguing over this". We've noticed that she's our little mediator if we ever get into "loud discussions" around our house. Last night SU and were having an argument while sitting on the bed (storm was napping at the other end of the bed). When we started to get irritated with each other Storm got up from her spot went over to SU wagging her tail and licked him on the face and then did the same to me. We were both laughing so hard we couldn't remember why we were fighting.

Yet another reason why Labs are the greatest dogs on earth ;D

    Good girl, Storm!

My dogs do the same thing; vanish from the room if SU and I have an argument.

If I get upset and swear in front of Mitzi, she leaves the room. Also, If I scold Judy, she places herself between Judy and me, and licks my face.

Thunder gets upset when we argue too. He leaves the room and won't come back until we are done and call him and then he tiptoes back into the room. I tell my husband you have too loud a voice and scare the dogs! He doesn't care! :-\

It's not the destination, it's the journey!
