I just noticed when I call ZsaZsa "Coco" by mistake, she makes funny face.
CoCo looks at me funny too when I call her "ZsaZsa"
Does yours do this too??
I have messed up and called Maggie her mothers name ever since last Dec. I knew mistakes would happen but its so hard... :'(
My friends girls are... ??? whats a nice way to put this ??? Little monsters.. They dont listen and some times if I have had a "bad" day with Dakota I will mess up and call her girls Dakota :-\
They look at us like we're nuts if we call them the wrong names but usually do what we ask lol

Sammi only look's at me funny if I call her "butthead", think's I'm talking to su!! ;D
I'm not sure I've ever called them the others names, although I have lots of "nicknames" for both of them. I think it confuses them when I use the nicknames. One funny thing happens when I have them both doing "tricks for treats" in the morning after they come in from pottying - I give them commands at the same time and Emilu does what I want immedieatly. Skippy is sometimes a little slow, or breaks a command to "lay down". Emilu used to watch him and if he sat back up , she would too. Now she waits to see if I will correct him. Also - unless I either say her name, or says "dogs -sit", she won't do the command. She wants to see if I really mean her, or if this is a command for someone else (like the big ole dog sitting next to her!)
We call Sally:
Annie (all the time!)
Heidi (son's boxer's name)
Sally Sue (my pet name for her)
chocolate drop (my other pet name for her)
stinky (husband's pet name for her)
And every once in a while, we actually call her Sally! She comes to all of them. It's a wonder she doesn't have multiple personality disorder!
I often thought about that too.Originally Posted by snowflake

ZsaZsa- Cry Baby, Whiner, Stinky etc..
May be that is why they have issues... ;D
With only one it's not a problem but sometimes I call him by a nickname also. I'll use little man....
Sundance's name was originally Tyrone. Sometimes when I'm trying to get his attention and he's ignoring me, I'll yell "TYRONE!" He usually whips his head around and gives me the funniest look, like he's experiencing deja vu.
