The difference a day makes!!!!! Mia is still NOT happy or acting her self but the area is looking better. A lot of fluid has drained out but now you can see the real swelling. She still has two days so hopefully more will come out. WE had to put pads & self adhering bandaging on all her feet last night as she was scratching at the cone & her back legs are long enough she could actually get them in the cone if she twisted right! Then Little Mary Sunshine comes out & is going to FREE Mia & starts chewing her bandages off then when Mia starts walking Mary grabs one & runs the other way actually pulling one off as her foot flexes! MARY!!!!! Daisy has for the most part stopped barking & we bought Mia real boots today, after the stores opened. I also dug Daisy old HUGE cone out & we actually put it over the one Mia has on now, so she could go without her feet wrapped while we left for some lunch & peace! Mia had gone all day without pottying, which has me worried. She went at 3:30 am & not all day even though she has been drinking but she did ginally go at 6 pm!!! I took her on two nice walks & she took naps on both of them after we walked three minutes or so. She nappied for 10-15 minutes in the sun, I thought that was prob good for her as she has been SO depressed after this surgery! This cone & lack of freedom has my girl down! Real tears several times last night! She was much happier after the cone was off for a bit while we clean her site & cleaned her fur. We also changed her harness, so she was a new girl! :-* She has gotten lots of kisses but she just doesn't understand! :-\

Glad that the surgery site is looking better.
Poor Mia. Some dogs really do seem to get quite depressed when they have to wear a buster collar
Won't someone please feed me!
