    DefaultHey Connie! New rescue pups

Hope you don't mind, but every time I see a tan dog with a black muzzle I think of Crash. I got a call for some "lab pups" that where roaming around the neighborhood in Stubenville Ohio for the last week and a half. I said I would come and get them, so off I went for the 4 hour round trip drive.

I have been having trouble with names for the two labs I got in Carrol County Ohio earlier in the week, but as soon as I saw these two I knew their names would be Fuzzy and Crash.

They are both females, and my Crash has one blue eye.

Have you ever seen a sadder face? :-[

They are around 10-12 weeks old and maybe 10 pounds. Seem pretty healthy but Crash has some road rash on his front leg. The local police said they had a report of the pups being thrown from a car back before Christmas.

    Fuzzy

It is very obvious that she is a terrier mix of some kind. I am thinking Ayredale maybe.

Look at them wiskers! ;D I could almost think JRT, but she is going to be way to big for that. I bet they get to 50 pounds + as adults.

Vaccs and worming tomorrow. They have pretty round little bellys so they are probably loaded with round worms.

Oh Joe, of course you know that I LOVE that you think of Crash!!!!

And I was so happy you decided to name one after him. Hopefully that will be good luck, and someone will adopt her who loves their Crash as much as I loved mine.

That one picture from the side really lit me up. I love ALL brown dogs with black muzzles. They always remind me of him. If I ever started a rescue, it would be a big brown dog rescue.

Kevin and I have a dream of one day (in our retirement) of starting a little dog obedience school. Guess what we want to call it? "Crash Course." ;D

Fuzzy is pretty darn cute too! I love her little whiskers.

Now that would be just perfect. A catchy name and a great tribute all wrapped up in one.

They are all vaccinated already and have gotten their intra-nasel kennel cough vacc. Tomorrow the worming and they will be all set to go. With pictures like those on Petfinder, do you think it will take long for them to be adopted

I don't think it will take long at all for them to be adopted! They've had a rough start...I bet they find the loving home they deserve!
