...Emma just brought home a chocolate bar... :
I just took her outside and she came running and passed me: happy, wagging her tail, looking proud. I know that look so well, she had something in her mouth and I thought it was a nasty bone as usual. I thought she could carry it to the steps so I could throw it in the garbage, because if I throw it outside, she remember it until next walk. When we were home again I said "leave it" and she left it on the steps A whole unwrapped chocolate bar! I took it and throw it into the garbage. Good girl for not eating it!!! For once she didn't eat what she found outside, she came to me with it. *sigh*

Every Christmas I set dishes of candy all around the living room - all chocolates. This year I put out only one dish (bucket shaped) only filled half way with kisses. I put a kiss up to Rocket's nose and told him "NO". He never went near them.
On Christmas morning Rocket walked up to me while I was sitting on the floor and bumped me with his nose. He had a kiss in his mouth. He dropped it into my hand and it was COMPLETELY INTACT!! It was one of the kisses that dropped out of my son's stocking when he was fishing thru it.
I am more and more impressed with Rocket everyday. He amazes me at how disciplined he is for such a youngster.
.....he has his own little stuffed animals to play with, and we even gave him a stuffed mallard for Christmas. He carries these around the house so gingerly, never puncturing them with his teeth. And, he leaves all of my son's stuffed toys alone and has never tried to steal one. What a guy.
I wish my dogs would bring me a candy bar!! ;D
