Since Cappy went yesterday, today was Remi's turn. Her new friend Ria joined us at our north property at opening light. It was a very good hunt for the two dawgs and they both had alot of action. Remi proudly coming back to heel with a large drake mallard.
Here's Ria's Daddy Dave, and Carol, posing with all three dawgs when we returned home.
Since Cappy and Remi seem to gotten along so well with Ria over the past 7-8 hunts together, Ria was warm water washed, towel dried and brought into the house for lunch with our two spoiled brats. :
Hmmm let's see, would you prefer a little more smoked turkey thigh, or perhaps another deviled egg?
Ok Ria, uncle Jim's going to serve you the deviled egg first ... easy with my fingers, please!
Remi and Rusty aren't my whole life. They're trying to fill the hole in my heart left by Cappy's passing.
Wow, treated like Queens I'd say!
Great pics! I love how they are sitting in a row waiting for threir turn.
