After two days of no greetings at the door, I got a wonderful greeting from my dog Blackie today. She got up when I pulled into the driveway, went to the door, and gave me a licking at the door. As you may know she's been limping and holding her back leg up and not putting weight on it. She's still not 100% as she is still favoring it and occasionally holding it up. Looks like she's on the mend and hopefully she'll keep getting better. She had me worried there. Well I'm still worried but not as much.

I am so glad to hear Blackie is feeling better. Sounds just like Abby. Hopefully they both will be all better soon.
Doesn't is just break your heart when you know they are not quite right?
Best thoughts for Blackie.

Oh Jeanne, I'm so glad!!!
A while back Simon did something similar. He was just lying around, not getting up to follow me from room to room. I was so worried...and then I retraced the previous few days, and realized it had been since we had played a very rousing game of fetch in the backyard. He was doing a lot of leaping up in the air (because I was throwing the ball so it would bounce and I could watch him jump :-[ ) Boy did I feel bad when I realized I had caused it. But after a few days of rest, he was feeling fine again!
So glad Blackie is better in time for Christmas. That IS a great gift! ;D
