Children notice so much and their emotions are so pure. A few months ago we talked about getting another puppy next year. Mackenzie says "Then we will have five dogs! And then six and seven and and......." I then said "Well I think five will be good for a while until we only have four or even three then we can get another." She furrowed her brow and looked confused. I reminded her "Dogs don't live as long as we do and Cuffy and Clint are old now." Her expression softened and she said "So they are gonna die." "Yes." "Mommy what are you going to do without him?" All I could say was "I don't know. I really don't know."
Here he is today.
Looking wonderful as always.
I had tears in my eyes reading your post. Beautiful pictures.
Teresa, mom to Brigetta and Prudence
Lovely phtos (as always) it's so hard to know our time together is too short. Hug your fur babies just a little tighter
Children are very wise.
Clint is such a handsome guy! And from the looks of him he will be around for awhile yet. I feel exactly the same way about Tal. I honestly don't know.
I can't remember how old Clint is either but he sure looks good...and very happy
I hope you don't have to find out for a very, v-e-r-y long time.
Clint looks terrific -- I love that first photo!
oooohhhh.... :'( But he sure looks gorgeous in the sun today; so strong, so full of life. Great words spoken by your daughter.
:'( It is hard for me to think about what I would do without any of my girls... I think you wont have to know for a long time. Your child is SO Sweet!
