still surprises me.
Taffy owns our bed. It is hers. We moved up to a king size because of her. She will even bark to wake up hubby if he is in "her spot."
When I strip the bed for laundering the sheets - I insist she stay off. I don't want her laying on the mattress cover or mattress by itself. She knows that while I'm cleaning on the weekend once I strip the bed, it is off limits. Once the bed is back together, she's welcome back up there.
So this weekend, I had already put fresh sheets and 4 pillow cases on and replaced the comforter. Done. It turned into her bed again. Keep in mind that after this I was in and out of that room 4 times and she stayed put on top of the comforter.
Until I walked in carrying the 2 additional pillowcases that just came out of the dryer. She immediately hopped off the bed and sat on the floor looking at me to give her the ok.
She's so good!I just love this girl!
Fanny sits in the middle while I remake it! She has to be told "movie" and then will move to a spot very close to where I tell her just to let me know who is in charge. and then snuggles down on the nice clean sheets and snoozes.........
Good girl, Taffy!!
AWWWWW! That is such a sweet story. I can just picture it!
