    DefaultA TX Winter Storm Sunset

A view from the back of the house looking west from our open patio through the dawg run out over the pond towards the just-clearing sky following two days of much needed rain ...

Same westerly view from just outside the garage entrance ...

That rain was accompanied by a cold front (the same one that dumped several feet of snow in Denver today) that should have brought a fresh supply of ducks and geese ahead of it. Carol and I are going to give Cappy a chance at them tomorrow morning. It will be his first outing since his ice-related injuries 10 days ago. I've told him he's going and he's a happy dawg right now.
Remi and Rusty aren't my whole life. They're trying to fill the hole in my heart left by Cappy's passing.

What a beautiful sky. Whenever I take a sunrise picture, it always looked better in person than in the picture.
