After the e-mail to the Vet, I finally got a return call about an hour or so later. Foster, our vet said that he was very concerned about the location of the spot, and the way it looked. He thought it might be cancer since it was right there on the gland. (He didn't tell me this until I got to the Vet..,...probably a good thing) So of course I took off of work, and drove back home. Kayice likes going to the vet, but she hates Foster lol. She remembered the shot from last time. He tried to touch her and she was like NOOO MOM NOOOO. Poor thing. She's never been out of my sight around him so I know she's just being a chicken, about shots and stuff. Anyway it took all three of us to turn her over on her back. He popped the spot with a needle, around where the head was. He said he didn't think it was staph, but something more like an infected hair. I think it could be fleas as well....damn things. I can't keep them off of her....and I think she's Highly allergic to the little shit's.
I will continue later...I just wanted to post this little bit. I'm having to close the store down and just looked at the time.

Last night Brad as complaining about Kaycie whining and moaning about nothing. He thought she might have to go out so he took her, gave her some water, put down some food......all of the above and nothing worked. She kept laying on her back all sprawled out with her legs wide open. I thought it might just be because she's going into heat.
Well this morning I noticed this huge red spot on her tummy. I'm freaking out, she hasn't gotten into anything and she hasn't touched up against anything that would burn her. I'm just wondering what this could be from. It's red, raised and she really doesn't like for me to touch it. Which I did to inspect it when I noticed it. I took these two pictures and e-mailed them to my vet back home (2.5 hrs away). I'm waiting on a call back now. Just worried.
OMG there she goes laying on her back again.
See how large it is.
And here's a close up. It has a little yellow zit looking thing in the middle.
That's a real nasty looking sore spot. Maybe an insect bite? When you get the diagnosis please let us know.

I don't have advice, but I hope she's ok. Update us when you find out more
Poor baby! I hope it's nothing serious.

I have no idea. Since it's kind of round, maybe it's a ring worm? I hope somebody can identify this. I'd at least call a vet and describe it and see if they want to see her.
that looks very strange..Lucy gets dark spots similiar but much smaller from black fly bites.
It almost looks like a burn..I am at a loss.
Poor thing...sounds like you will need to take a trip to the Vet.
Let us know what you find out...
