I dropped the doggies off at the boarding kennel Tuesday evening. While they run right into "their" kennel (they usually get the sme double one on the end), I hate it when they run to the outside pen and watch me as I drive away. I want so much to run back and throw my arms around them and take them back home. We got home tonight around 8:45 pm and I called to see if it was too late to pick them up. While there was a slight pause on the phone, she said - nope - come and get them. I get there, leave the car door open and then let her go and open the kennel door. I don't even let them see me anymore - they get so excited and jump up and practically knock me over or bust my lip. So they run right by me hiding behind the door and into the car. Now they are safe back home, sleeping soundly at our feet after taking a walk to pee, and eating a bowl of food. All is well
