    DefaultRemington is gone (few pics)

Remington's family helped him cross the bridge on the 20th. I haven't been able to put this in words it's so heartbreaking to me. Today is the first day I think I can get through it. Funny how no matter how long they are in your life a really sweet loving dog touches you so deeply. Rem was a challenge, as most young pups are, and his mom's first dog. She thought after having twins and another child 13 mnths later...how hard can a puppy be? After a few months past and a few tearful phone conversations she got through it. Rem turned into one of the best behave dogs around..yeah he still got excited and attempted to take a knee cap out with that labby happy tail of his but he walked to school with his kids everyday in just about a perfect heal. Was the highlight of some of the other school children's day they all waited to visit Rem before school started. I can't help but wonder what happened. I don't think we'll ever know for sure. But what I know for sure is I couldn't have pick a better family for Remington to live his short life with. I can't help but wonder why something like this happens to one of those dogs you could trust in a room full of kids under 8 without worrying constantly there would be an incident. He was truly a gently loving soul. I will miss him. He and Gunny played often we are close families. The last I saw him Rem climbed his big black butt onto my lap and laid his head on my arm and sighed, I'm sure he knew. Gunny must of too because having another dog that close to me is never ok in his book but he didn't even butt in as if he knew Rem just wanted me to hold him.

    Run free sweet Remington.

4 weeks old his first photo shoot

6 weeks he was always my little buddy. Griffin and Gunny would gang up on him but he always ended up winning lol

Turning into such a handsome boy

Month or two later with Gunny

Deneen. :'( I am so sorry. Gosh, I am so sorry. I don't know what to say.

    This breaks my heart.

Remi was very beautiful and it sounds like he had a heart to match. I was really pulling for him. Please send my very best to his family. I am sure they are devastated.
