Poor Bailey, I hope she feels better soon. When Brigetta has the runs I hold off on at least one meal so her stomach can settle. I'm not sure about the cough, but the change in yogurt may have caused the runs. Hope others have some more advice for you.

No food for at least 24 hours. The coughing might very well be kennel cough, but I wouldn't assume that since she had a rawhide. Prolly your best bet is to take her in for a look see. It might be nothing serious, but the vet check will give you peace of mind.

Withhold all food for a day and then slowly start her back with rice and boiled ground beef or chicken. Like a Cup full and see how it goes.

Let whatever is in her run it's course and emtpy out. Surprisingly, they can still get kennel cough even with the Bordatella shot. : But, you may want the vet to check her out just so you know for sure it's not an obstruction.

Oh, poor thing! Well I'm glad to hear you've gotten her checked out and she is on the road to recovery.

Those rawhides are just too iffy. We don't do them, or anything like them, anymore, after Angus had an intestinal blockage to the tune of $2,500. And some rawhides can be basted with poisonous chemicals, particularly those made in China, if I am remembering correctly.

I hope that it's just a light case of tummy upset and Bailey will feel much better soon!

Wow - this hit home with me. I gave Buddy a big basted bone a couple of days ago cause I felt so bad for him having surgery, etc. He made a pile of mush the next day like I've never seen. I assumed it was from all the anesthesia, medications, etc. related to the surgery. After reading your post, I bet it was the bone. He hasn't looked at it much in the last 2 days so I'm getting out of my chair now to toss it in the garbage!! Thanks for posting and I hope your dog is ok now.

This is not uncommon with rawhides. I've heard of salmonella poisoning a lot with them. ONe of the many reasons why my dogs will never get them. I hope she feels better soon.

Hope she feels better soon. Another reason not to feed rawhide.
